Corporate Services

Beyond legal counsel — the operational backbone for doing business in Botswana.

Through Babuseng Corporate Services, we offer the day-to-day administrative, compliance, and secretarial work that sits next to legal advice. Same team, same standards, separately engaged where conflict and regulation require.

How we work

A separate engagement, the same standard of care.

  • 01

    Separately engaged.

Corporate Services is a distinct engagement from legal counsel — with its own retainer, scope, and fee schedule. Conflicts are checked across both sides of the firm.

  • 02

    Fixed-fee where possible.

Most service lines are quoted on annual or per-filing fixed fees. Time-based billing is the exception, not the default.

  • 03

    One contact, one calendar.

A dedicated relationship manager owns your statutory calendar and coordinates with your finance, HR, and tax teams.

  • 04

    Audit-ready records.

Statutory registers, KYC packs, and filing histories are maintained continuously — not assembled when the auditor calls.

  • 05

    Escalation to counsel.

When a service matter raises a legal question, it is escalated promptly to the relevant practice — with the appropriate ethical wall in place.
