Eddie Ofitlhile Babuseng is a founding partner at the firm. His philosophy of law practice is steeped on accessibility and pre-emptive agility. At the core of his solutions-based approach is the endeavour to always fully understand the nature of the business and contextual environments his clients operate in as this is key for reliable advisory services.

He graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2009 and was admitted to practice as an Attorney of the High Court of Botswana in 2010. Quickly rising through the ranks at some of Botswana's premier firms, he subsequently made partnership within six years of starting law practice.

Driven by a vision to operate a law firm that fully honours the integrity of its clients, he co-founded Babuseng Attorneys.

Eddie currently offers legal advice and representation to both large enterprises and SMEs operating in a variety of industries, some of which include: banking and finance; construction; debt collection; defense and security; food production; insurance; logistics; manufacturing; milling; mining; pension funds; property development; telecommunications and industrial relations. He has experience working closely with Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) and corporates to render advice on compliance and governance issues; the mapping of company structures and business models; structuring transactions; drafting of sound commercial agreements, and exit strategising.

Having appeared with regularity and success at the High Court, Industrial Court, Land Tribunal and Court of Appeal, he has extensive experience in conducting reviews, civil trials, and appeals. Due to his dispute resolution and debt recovery practice, he is often involved in arbitration and liquidation proceedings as well.
